Ingredients
4 cups Whole Wheat Flour (Atta),
2 cups grated Cauliflower (Gobhi),
1-2 chopped Green chilies,
1" Ginger chopped,
Salt, Red chili powder & Garam Masala as per your taste,
1/2 tablespoon Ajwain (optional),
Butter /Oil for frying,
Finely chopped Coriander leaves.
Preparation
• First make dough out of Atta, similarly as you do for any type of roti or paratha.
• Prepare the mixture of the grated cauliflower, ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves, ajwain, chili powder, salt and garam masala, for use as the filling in the paratha.
• Make two medium sized chapati, add the filling to the one chapati and cover it with the second one. Now roll it gently and slightly.
• Cook it on a pre-heated Tawa (flat griddle plate). Turn it and pour half a tablespoon oil or butter over it.
• Spread the same on the paratha and fry shallow over low intensity of heat.
• Turn the paratha and again pour oil or butter on the other side.
• Then, cook over a low intensity of heat till it gets golden brown in colour.
• Your Gobhi Ka Parantha is now ready to be served hot with yogurt (curd) and chutney of your liking.
