Why Foods Affect Us Now That Never Bothered Us Before ? One of the major effects of these invaders is a high degree of difficulty in digesting many foods. Some practitioners call these food sensitivities; others call it a leaky gut syndrome while others say its digestive food sensitivities. All it means is that when you eat certain foods you will experience many types of symptoms including the need to sleep, fatigue, intestinal gas, cramps etc. These symptoms are indicative that you are having difficulty in digesting certain foods.
Even if you don't find any time to look after yourself, a few minor changes in your lifestyle can make a major change in your health and fitness levels. Here's how.
Some directions to guide your through
Keep it lean - Cutting as much fat and cholesterol from your diet should be your number one priority. This will also allow you to direct your attention to the four food groups, a balanced diet is all important.
Exercise regularly - When on a health diet, ensure that you exercise either thirty minutes before or after you eat. That way, you do not burn the food that you just ate, but rather your fat reserves in your body.
Take in more fiber - Some of the high fiber foods that one should include in ones diet are fruit, vegetables and whole grains. High fiber diets assist in keeping you regular and also lower your cholesterol.
Weight control is imperative when going on a health diet - Maintaining an ideal weight is extremely important; it reduces many diseases and ailments and reduces the risk of heart related illness.
Drinks on the house - We will not say, 'stop drinking!' But what will be said is, reduce your consumption of alcoholic beverages in your drink more than two glasses a day. Excessive amounts of alcohol can lead to destroy livers and also even alcohol poisoning.
Drink water - We all need to drink as much water as possible, especially if you are energetic and muscular, muscle contains substantially more water than fat, which is needed to lubricate joints, regulate body temperature and replenish bodily fluids.
Eat low fat products - Choose low fat dairy products that help you achieve low blood pressure. People who eat more dairy products have lower systolic blood pressure (top number of a blood pressure reading). Systolic pressure measures blood pressure in the arteries as heart beats and is a good predictor of heart disease
Get hooked on to calcium! - Include dairy products in your diet to protect yourself from the risks of developing Type-II Diabetes. A study published in Diabetes Care says 'middle-aged women were less likely to be diagnosed with Type-II Diabetes if they frequently ate dairy products'. In fact, each additional dairy serving is associated with a four percent drop in diabetes risk.
Quit smoking - We give you another reason to stop smoking. Patients of asthma, who stop the habit, can achieve up to 15 per cent improvement in lung infections within two months. Results start showing even after one week of not smoking. So the negative effects of smoking in asthma patients can be nullified. The degree of improvement exceeds from that of anti-inflammatory treatment, which had no effect. Remove the butt and the smoke and you remove an acute bronchial constrictor.
Saved by the needle -The commonest form of prevention of infectious diseases is the vaccine and to prevent meningitis among small children- vaccinate them.
